‘Lancers Fighting Breast Cancer’.
The
Lambeth Midget LL team hosted the
Port Stanley Sailors on Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2014, proudly wearing the pink jerseys.
Thank you to all those who volunteered and helped with this event.
This fantastic fundraiser is near and dear to the Lambeth community as many of us have been touched by some wonderful women who are either battling Breast Cancer or whose life was taken away by this terrible disease. 100% of all donations received from the Pink in the Rink games will go directly to Dr. Muriel Brackstone’s Breast Cancer Research Lab.
Dr. Muriel Brackstone is a Lambeth hockey mom, as well as a researcher and surgeon at the St. Joseph's Breast Care Centre. Please check out the link to the St. Joseph's website that gives some info on Muriel and one of her projects:
The Pink in the Rink game originated last year and we are proud to announce that over $3,000 was raised in only 7 games. We hope to keep the spirit and generosity going again this year.
