2018-2019 Local League Hockey Season

Closing Remarks:

Another great season of Local League Hockey in Lambeth has finished! Before we move on to our Spring/Summer activities I would like to take a minute to share a few highlights with you about each of our six Local League teams. We have had another successful season of hockey and our players have had fun, made friends, developed their skills, and have worked together as a team through exciting victories and tough losses. Many of our teams have attended several tournaments this season with some exciting accomplishments to share. Congratulations to all!





Season Highlights

Novice LL – Brad Kuntz
- Finalist in the John Henry Tournament in Strathroy
- Tournament Champions at the Langton Leafs LL Tournament
- Tournament Champions in the Seaforth Stars Novice LL Tournament
- Placed 2nd in the Regular Season
- Placed 2nd in the Championship Series
- Everyone had a point this season! They played as a team, as it took all 13 players to achieve these goals!

Atom LL1 – Jeremy deValk
- Competed in the John Henry Memorial Tournament in Strathroy
- Received a Sliver Medal at the Motown Cup Tournament in Detroit
- Participated in the Lisa Dalpe Memorial Tournament
- Won their final playoff Consolation Series
- The team learned a lot this season and worked hard, playing as a team and driving the net for rebounds!

Atom LL2 – James Stockford
- Competed in the Aylmer Christmas Cup Tournament
- Participated in the Max Partlo Memorial LL/HL Tournament
- All players worked hard and had fun!

Peewee LL1 – John Jekl
- Participated in the John Henry Memorial Tournament in Strathroy
- Competed in the Motown Cup Tournament in Detroit
- Participated in the Lisa Dalpe Memorial Tournament
- Made it to the final Championship Series in the playoffs
- Players worked hard and had fun!

Peewee LL2 – Chris Gee
- Finalist in the John Henry Memorial Tournament in Strathroy
- Participated in the Parkhill Silver Stick
- Competed in the Henderson’s Pharmacy Tournament in Thorold - a great time was had by all
- Made it to the final Championship Series in the playoffs
- The team worked hard and played well together, which made for a great season!

Bantam LL – Joey Chirico
- Champions at the John Henry Memorial Tournament in Strathroy
- Placed 2nd in the St. Mary’s LL Tournament
- Placed 3rd at the Clinton Optimist Bantam Tournament
- The team worked hard and had a fun season!

Please make sure you take the time to thank your Coaches and other bench staff, as all the great things highlighted above would not have happened without our volunteers. I would like to thank all Coaches and volunteers for your dedication and support of the Lambeth Local League Program.

It’s been an awesome season of hockey. Congratulations to all our Lambeth Lancers! Have a wonderful Spring and Summer, and I hope to see everyone in the Fall for another great season of hockey. Registration is now open!
