MHAL has some exciting news for our goaltenders! Goalie Clinic on Wednesday, September 26th with Lambeth's very own, Daren Machesney!
Daren Machesney played in the 2004/05 CHL Top Prospects game and in 2005 was drafted in the fifth round of the NHL entry draft by the Washington Capitals. In 2006 Washington signed Machesney to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Machesney helped the Hersey Bears win the 2008/09 Calder Cup in his last season with the Capitals. He currently lives in Lambeth & works with the London Knights organization.
We are absolutely thrilled to have Daren lead two goalie training sessions:
When: Wednesday, September 26th 6:00pm & 7:00pm
Who: 6:00pm Session to include all Novice, Atom, Peewee BOYS & GIRLS
7:00pm Session to include all Peewee, Bantam, Midget BOYS & GIRLS
***note Peewee can go to either session***
Where: Lambeth Arena
Cost: FREE for MHAL Goalies only
Coaches, we will need your support at this two sessions along with some skaters.
