The Northern Limit
The Lancers closed out the month of November by heading to the northen boundaries of the Shamrock League. Thankfully the snow hadn't started flying as the boys from Beattie Street hoped to begin another winning streak with a late mid-week game in Exeter.

A combination of injuries, homework and suspensions added up to 6 rostered players missing out on the action in South Huron. An early shot to the head of Bryant Francis had the visiting coaches concerned on having enough skaters to finish the match.

A lethargic start to the game meant AP goaltender Scott Sullivan had to be in top form including turning aside a breakaway chance to limit the South Huron lead to 1 -0 at the end of the first. Bryant Francis shook off his trobbing jaw near the end of the first, and that seem to spark the Lancers game. An early second period goal by Kyle Mackay from Zach Waller started the Lambeth revival. The Lancers jumped to the lead on another second period goal by Jarvis Millard, with Garret Doxtator and Dylan Nash getting the helpers. The teams went to the dressing room knotted at 2's however as Exeter scored in the last minute of play.

A third period goal by Nick Hilborne from Casey Coyle paced the Lancers to a short lived lead as South Huron replied just eleven seconds later. Alternate Brandon Neves gave the Lancers their third and final lead of the game, scoring the game winner on a deft pass from Jarvis Millard. Casey Coyle sealed the deal by converting a Zach Waller pass with 5 minutes left in the 3rd period.

The South Huron boys seemed preturbed at having a rare home win snatched from their grasp, taking a roughing penalty as Casey's goal was scored. They finished their send off for the boys in burghandy by show-casing a WWF choke hold on Zach Waller with 3 seconds left in the match.
