Team Keeps Rolling
Two more games this weekend and two more victories. The Bantam boys pushed their unbeaten streak to 6 games and have now won 5 in a row. On Saturday the team played against St. Marys Rock and handled them with relative ease by beating the team 6-3. Leading the way for the Lancers was Kyle Kenny with three points (Goal and 2 assists). Other goal scorers: Evan Fretter, Kurtis Van Dommelen, Nick Brown, Hayden Laird and Justin Buchanan. John Shore chipped in with two assists. Robert Carter won his 5th of the season.
On Sunday, the team without some of our their fire power continued to play with confidence. The Lancers continue to pass the puck around well and head to the net to create scoring chances. With Captain Kurtis Van Dommelen leading the way with a goal and an assist, other point producers where: Kyle Kenny, Brendan Delancey and John Shore, each with a goal and Brayden Micallef with two assists. Ryan Smeets won his 5th of the season. The next game will be against the undefeated Port Stanley 2 team in the John Henry Tournament. Looks like the Lancers are peaking at the right time.
