Strathroy Bookends for Christmas
For all you stat hounds out there, wondering how the Novice B boys have been doing - well here we go.  December was bookended with games against arch-rival and second place Strathroy and started with a win.  It was a hard fought game between two of Shamrock's steadiest teams and ended with Lambeth winning 4-2.

Noah Nelson and Matteo Santagapita paced the Lancers with a goal and an assist each.  The other Lambeth goals went to Simon Moir and Charlie Graham.  Other assists on the night went to Dylan Dundas with 2 and Isaac Irwin.  Lambeth then rolled into Mooretown, a lovely hamlet along the river, good for midday strolls, poetry recitals and of course novice hockey.  Although this reporter was not in attendance, the game was a fine affair full of vigor and panache.  Simon Moir had a robust 3 goals and 2 assists steering the Lancers to a 8-4 win.  Parker Pigeon and Matteo Santagapita also had 2 goals each, with the final goal coming from a jovial and spirited Josh Troop.  Helpers on the afternoon went to Pigeon, Isaac Irwin and Roundhouse himself, Logan Slota.  A short drive to the ferry had the parents stocked up on refreshments for the holidays and the boys ready to take on the Dragons of Dorchester.  And take them on they did scoring a 4-0 victory on a solid night of netminding from the Wall of Ty-na.  It was a total team effort as 4 different Lancers found the back of the net.  Simon Moir, Parker Pigeon, Noah Nelson and Cameron Reif each had a goal, with Matt Milne (with 2), Josh Troop, Reif, and Cooper Kelly getting the assists.  3 victories in a row had Lambeth on a 19 game winning streak in Shamrock play and pundits around the globe were asking themselves who would lose first, the Lancers or the junior A London Knights?  it was the Lancers - 6 nights later - shut out by the Strathroy Rockets 3-0.  Still a 19 game streak loyal readership!  And off to Silver Stick we went...............................
