Novice LL3 are BCH Tournament Champions!!!
The Novice LL3 team entered their first tournament of this season on October 12th and 13th in Hensall, Ontario.  Friday night's game was a barn burner being down 2 goals with 4 minutes left against the Lambton Shores Predators.  A couple of quick goals by Braedan Bubb-Clarke and consistent goal tending by Lucas Marshall allowed them to squeeze-out a win.

With only two games under their belt they started to play together as a team. A team effort of goals led by Logan Battersby, Adam Jones, Matthew Mac Donald, and Jonathan Bauer gave the team the lead early in the game. Great defensive efforts from Cole Witt, Tyler Jones, Carter Navage, and Jonathan Lavalley held our lead to a victory of 5 to 2 over the South Huron Sabres.
The third game was a must tie or win to advance the Championship game. It was a nail-biter ending in a tie 2-2, with the hometeam BCH Icedogs1. The tie gave the team the first overall seed in the tournament, an accomplishment on its own.

After many games of mini-sticks and slices of pizza, the team was ready for their first championship game of the season. The Lancers stepped up their game with great efforts from Truman Debissage, Lucas Hollomby, and Joshua Newman helping the team effort to lead this Championship game from the drop of the puck. Jonathan Bauer dominated the scoring with a hat-trick and received the "Player of the Game" over the BCH Icedogs 2. Brady David earned a shut-out in the 5-0 victory and was described on the BCH website as "the goalie was the road block we just couldn't get by; even after some valiant effort from our offensive lines".
Overall, a great hockey experience for these Novice players and their families.
