Novice Reps win Schomberg Tournament
Congratulations to the Lambeth Novice boys Rep team who won the Schomberg Novice Rep Tournament!!!!!!
On Friday October 25th the boys had to face the hometown Schomberg Red Wings and the Lambeth boys cam out hard and fast & controlled the game from start to finish and came away with a 6-0 win.
Later that night the boys came against a strong Ennismore Eagles team and even though the boys & parents had to leave the building for a fire alarm halfway through the second period for about 40 minutes the boys came back out flying and came away with a 9-0 win.
Saturday afternoon the Lambeth boys met the Newcastle Stars and the boys were determined and focused as both teams were undefeated at the time and Lambeth came away with a convincing 8-2 win.
Championship Game: The Lancers coaches didn't have to say much to the boys in their pre-game talk as their play prior was sensational & just looking in their eyes you could tell they were focused and ready to play in the Championship game. They came out flying right from the first shift and dominated the game from start to finish and came away in the title game against the Newcastle Stars with a 9-1 win.
During the course of the weekend the coaches and parents were witness to some great passing, great playmaking and we started to see our boys become a "TEAM" and to witness their play was remarkable.
