Bantam Girls win Stratford tournament
The Bantam B girls used their newly found offence, a stingy defense and solid goaltending to win the Stratford Festival City tournament on the weekend. They finished up the weekend with a 1-0 victory over South Huron in the Sunday final.
Despite severe weather issues that forced the team to play 2 games in 3 hours on Saturday the girls finished the weekend with a 4-0-1 record.
Game results were:
3-2 win vs. Waterloo
1-1 tie vs. Mt. Forest
3-0 win vs. Stratford
5-0 win vs. Ancaster
1-0 win in Final vs. South Huron
