Peewee B Girls Capture Championship in Cambridge
The
Lambeth Peewee B Girls travelled to the
Cambridge Roadrunners tournament and had an outstanding weekend winning 6 straight games to capture the championship and kick-off 2019 in winning style! The girls defeated a very strong Cambridge team 2-1 in the finals. This was the third tournament championship for the girls and once again it was a tremendous team effort across the board.
The scoring was balanced all weekend and the team defense was smothering throughout the tournament and once again, the team relied on outstanding goal-tending to backstop the victory. It was a true team effort and team victory.
Congratulations on an incredible weekend girls, the coaches are proud of you and the awesome effort you put in this weekend and every time on the ice. Keep up the incredible work!
