The
Lambeth Lancers Girls Hockey teams this season will be playing in the
Western Ontario Girls Hockey Association (WOGHL) at either the
House League (HL) or
Rep (C) level. Typically each level in WOGHL has 20-24 teams. Regardless of your
OWHA categorization, all WOGHL teams within a division (ie. atom) play each other.

Being on a house league
(HL) team in
WOGHL is anything but boring! If you look at last year's atom season for example, you will see the South Huron House League team finished in the top 10. The only signficant difference between C and HL hockey, is that the C team plays down in a regional group for a potential spot in the OWHA provincial weekend in mid April each year. Since our HL teams don't play content for that, many schedule a tournament around the end of March to close off their season. The biggest perk to playing house league in
Lambeth (and
WOGHL) is that you have the ability to play a vast majority of teams (not just a rotation of 3-4) and you can continue developing your skills while playing C teams as well as the potential to be called up to play for a
Lambeth C team.
We understand that many parents hope for a C / Rep spot for their daughter. Lambeth's mandate is provide hockey opportunities to girls of all abilities and to ensure their opportunity is enriching and challenging for them. Our house league program is not left on it's own, without support or development, or the attention of our executive team member. We focus on coaching girls to the best of their ability and challenge them to become the best hockey player they can be!
We hope you consider a house league opportunity for your daughter in Lambeth. Any questions, please contact us at:
