Hello Lancer families! As we close an exciting 2023-2024 hockey season we are quickly preparing for the upcoming 2024-25 season ahead
Coaching selections for next season are underway and the successful candidates will be announced very soon. Registration for tryouts will open in the coming days, please keep a watch out for that notification from the Girls' Registrar. It is anticipated the tryouts will begin May 3, 2024 for the U11, U13, U15, and U18 division. U9 tryouts will be held in the fall of 2024. The U11 team will be a BB classification with the potential for A classification. This will be determined through talent evaluations during tryouts. U13, U15, and U18 teams will range from C/HL to B/BB divisions, dependent on talent level evaluated and observed at tryouts. It is estimated that each division will have 2 teams, with the potential for more, depending on registration numbers. Evaluations at tryouts will be conducted by Total Package Hockey (TPH) again this year, as well as the selected coaches. Tryout fee is $100 with each player guaranteed 4 skates. Payment for tryouts will be completed on RAMP by registering for your daughter’s appropriate age group. If your player DID NOT play for the Lambeth Lancers last season they must provide a valid Permission to Tryout form from their home association and they MUST bring a paper copy of the form to their first tryout.
Lastly, for the coming season Frank Boyes will be assuming the position of the Girls Hockey Convenor with the Minor Hockey Association of Lambeth from Jocelyn Aarts. Frank is committed to the continued growth of girl’s hockey in Lambeth and is looking forward to an exciting and fun hockey season. Go Lancers!
