In
anticipation of the 2024-2025 hockey season, MHAL is looking for a volunteer to
fill the
Representative Convenor position on the Executive Board.
A brief
description of the open position is listed below. A detailed role
description is available upon request.
Representative (Rep) Convenor

Act as the Delegate for all MHAL Rep Teams

Responsible for allocation of game times to all Rep Divisions

Represent the Association at all meetings of the governing body (OMHA), Shamrock Hockey League, and/or Referees Association
-
Work with the Ice Convenor, OWHA Convenor, and Local League Convenor with respect to ice schedule
-
Ensure OMHA and MHAL requirements are met with regards to Rosters and Players
-
Ensure the MHAL Rep programs conform to the ‘current’ OMHA Rules, Regulations and Guidelines including any Player Pathway requirements

Address any Parent questions or concerns
To ensure a
smooth transition, current members will ensure an appropriate level of support
and training is provided ahead of the start of the season.
