2024-2025 Registration for Lambeth Minor Hockey
Registration for OMHA programs will open on April 30, 2023 and will close on June 30, 2023 or whenever age groups are filled to capacity. Waitlists will be available for teams at capacity. A late fee will be charged after June 30, 2023 for RETURNING MEMBERS ONLY.
MHAL is pleased to offer on-line registration for all hockey programs offered by Lambeth Minor Hockey including:
1. Initiation Program Hockey (boys and girls born 2016 to 2018 - OMHA House League only. Recommended that the child be able to skate independently.)
2. Boys & Co-Ed Hockey (boys and girls born between 2005 and 2015 - OMHA Rep B, C/D and Local League teams.
3. Girls Hockey (girls ONLY born between 2005 and 2015 - OWHA level B and C[HL] teams). All Girls teams will be holding tryouts to create teams. Please check with our Registrar first about registering a girl (age 11 or older) to play with an OMHA hockey team.
Registration is available online 24/7 and is on a first come, first served basis so it is important to register as soon as possible. If your player is on a waitlist, there is no guarantee a position will become available; although MHAL will endeavor to find space for waitlisted player, we are limited by overall registration numbers and ice time availability.
MHAL requires all players, parents and guardians, and volunteers to familiarize themselves and abide by all MHAL policies. Registration is acceptance of all policies including MHAL Code of Conduct, Rowan’s Law and MHAL Waiver.
Registration Process (updated April 2024):
You must register each child in the appropriate MHAL Hockey registration system:
- Initiation Program or Boys Hockey (OMHA) registrants - login to the HCR 3.0 (Hockey Canada Registry) system.
- Girls Hockey (OWHA) registrants will need to login to the Ramp Interactive system.
**NOTE **
Are you registering family members for BOTH OWHA (Girls only) AND OMHA (Boys/Girls) hockey?
Both of these systems have separate logins and passwords and are NOT integrated, so if you wish to register different players from the same family for BOTH OMHA and OWHA hockey, login to the HCR system and register the OMHA Hockey player FIRST.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE DOES NOT GUARANTEE A POSITION ON A TEAM - TEAMS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE IF REGISTRATION WARRANTS AND ICE TIME PERMITS.
No special requests are accepted as the focus in on ensuring players are appropriately placed according to skill level, to help ensure every player in the association has a fair and equitable season.
In an effort to provide access to hockey for all children in their community, MHAL has limited funds available for financial assistance for families in need. Please email the appropriate Registrar with your request. All requests will be kept private. More information can be found here.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We understand that paying the full amount of registration is not ideal for everyone. Therefore, we are adding the option of paying in four installments. Please note that registration must be paid in full prior to your child hitting the ice. Calculation for installments differ from previous years - please review the example below.
Two Options:
1) Paid in full at time of registration - OR -
2) First Installment due at time of registration;
second installment due no later than June 1; third installment due no later than July 1; and fourth installment due no later than August 1.
Installments in the RAMP (Girls) system are divided evenly. However, the installments in the HCR 3.0 system (Boys/OMHA) will be slightly different due to the Hockey Canada fee being taken in full in the first installment.
