The Lambeth U9C girls won the Oshawa Winter Classic this
past weekend!
The weekend started with the girls winning a shooting
challenge by shooting 19,000 pucks in the last eight days, meaning the coaches
had to dress fancy for the Friday games!
The semifinal game was wild, down 2-1, we pulled the goalie and scored to tie it up. Then we took a penalty and killed it off for the last minute of regulation and the first minute of 3v3 overtime. Once we were even strength in overtime, our girls crashed the net and scored, buying us a ticket to the finals.
In the finals, the girls played incredible, winning battles
all over the ice, and cruising to a 6 to 2 victory.
The coaches are so proud of these girls. They never gave up,
even when down, and showed so much heart throughout the final game. It was so
much fun for all!
