Dear U9 and Below Families,
As you may have heard, the Ontario Hockey Federation has recently removed
residential boundaries for U10 and above Competitive hockey.
However, for U9 and below MD and Select programs, a modified
structure is now in place.
What does this mean for you?
If your player is in U9 or younger and is participating in MD or Select
programs:
· Players
living within the OMHA boundary must play for an OMHA team.
· Players
living within the Alliance boundary must play for an Alliance team.
Please note: This only applies to MD and Select programs. The Local League program
remains unchanged and continues to have no boundary restrictions for
any age group.
To help clarify which boundary you fall under, we've posted a map on
our Boundaries Page. If
you're still unsure or have any questions, feel free to reach out to me
directly at [email protected].
Lastly, don’t forget to check out our Tryout
Registration Page for information about the
upcoming U9 MD tryouts starting May 9th.
