Please read the following important information regarding
parents on ice with players, the
MHAL Raffle,
Police Checks and the
SportChek event this Sunday.
On-Ice Volunteers - Boys Hockey:
Parents are NOT permitted on the ice with players unless they are officially rostered to a team or included on our on-ice volunteer list. Anyone who is volunteering on-ice needs to be identified on our list of volunteers required that must be submitted to the OMHA by this Friday. Please ensure that the names and date of birth for all on-ice volunteers (this does not include rostered team officials such as coaches, trainers etc.) have been forwarded to our registrar [email protected] by Friday, Dec. 6th.
MHAL Raffle: Just a reminder that all ticket stubs need to be returned to team mangers then conveners by 8:00 pm on Friday December 13th. The draw for the cash prizes totalling $6500 will take place at the Lambeth Arena at 11am Saturday, December 14th.
SportChek Lambeth Minor Hockey Association Private Shopping night is Sunday December 8th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Westwood SportChek located on Wonderland Road South. You must bring the SportChek invitation to be admitted - available on the MHAL website by clicking on 'Read More' in the SportChek posting. I am an XL Tall size if anyone is wondering...
Police Check Return - (this pertains only to team officials and on-ice volunteers) Thank you to everyone who has had their Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) completed. As the information contained in these documents is personal and confidential you are asked to provide your completed documents in a sealed envelope (identified with your name) to our professional designate - Orville Beckford. Orville has volunteered to be responsible for collection of these documents and will be collecting these at the Lambeth Arena next week - Tuesday December 10th from 6:30 until 7:30 pm and Thursday December 12th from 5:30 until 7:00 pm. Orville will be located inside the main arena doors at a bench nearest the vending machines. If you cannot deliver your completed documents next week there will be a second set of dates announced in a few weeks time for you to supply your completed PVSC.
