Provincial Champions
The Lambeth Lancers Girls Midget BB team are provincial gold medal champions!
The team went 6 & 0 for the weekend, although the final game was probably the toughest of the year where Lakeshore fought hard. It was 0-0 after 3 periods in a nail biter of a game until finally half way through a 10 minute overtime, McKenzie Streefkerk scored the winning goal. There were tears of joy and also a little sadness with the season ending and the end of hockey for 13 of the 16 players moving on to College and University next year. We look forward to getting all together again for a team celebration and yearly reunions, because this season, and this team are ones we will all cherish forever.
