Important Info for Novice and Below for 2018/19 season:

MHAL has developed a structure that will meet the new Hockey Canada and OMHA mandate.  Please view the MS-WORD document attachment (link below) in order to understand how MHAL will be putting together teams for the upcoming 2018/19 hockey season.  Further details will be provided as the season starts.

Novice Tryout Process:
All 2010-born players are eligible to register/tryout for the Novice B team or register/play for Novice LL team.  Players born in 2011 birth year are also eligible to try out for MHAL Novice B team, subject to final registration numbers and meeting eligibility requirements.  Any 2011 birth year players that choose to tryout must contact Lambeth registrar (via MHAL website) to register for the tryout and pay the required $85 tryout fee (not necessary if you have already registered/paid).  The deadline for tryout registration is Aug 15th.  For 2011 players that already paid a tryout fee but no longer wish to tryout, please contact the registrar.

Tyke Tiering Process:
Players born in 2011 will participate in the tiering process for MHAL Tyke Teams: Maroon, White and Blue.  All players will be required to participate.  All interested Tyke coaches should contact Chad Dunn via email/MHAL website prior to August 15th.   Teams will play similar tiered teams from other centers during the season.

Initiation Program Tiering Process:
Players in 2012, 2013 and 2014 birth years will participate in the tiering process for the internal IP program.  All players will be required to participate.  Teams will be structured into Senior IP and Junior IP divisions (equal/balanced teams in both divisions).  All interested coaches should contact Jarod Judson or Ryan Marcy (via email/MHAL website).
