2018-2019 LMLL - Novice LL 1 - 2018 Novice Seaforth Tournament Champs
Submitted By Brad Kuntz on Sunday, December 9, 2018
What can I say about this about this group of kids, I guess 1 word can best describe them "champs". We won the tournament put on by the Seaforth Stars.

We started out the tournament a little tired and flat footed, which is not our typical Lancers style of game. We ended up losing against the Mitchel Meteors 9-4.  Our next game the boys wanted some redemption and came out on fire and won 11-0 versus the South Bruce Blades. Our third game of the day was against the host Seaforth Stars team.  We ended up winning the game in a thrilling 6-5 sudden death shoot out. This brought us to the finals versus the Mitchel Meteors.  Our boys were pumped to play, and wanted to show those Meteors who the best team in the tournament was.  The boys ended up scoring first and never let the Meteors get a lead during the game. We ended up winning the game 4-3.  In total on the weekend we scored 25 goals for and allowed 17 goals against. In a great display of teamwork over the weekend we had 7 different goal scorers and 8 different players get on the game sheet, our defense played with purpose and our goalies were rock solid.  We were the only team to play all of our games on Saturday, having played 4 games in 9 hours.  The coaching staff and parents could not be prouder of how hard these boys worked during the tournament.
Congratulations Novice Lancers - 2018 Seaforth Tournament Champs
