MHAL Remembers Heather Leasa - UPDATE
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Heather Leasa, a much-loved MHAL volunteer and member of our local hockey community.
Throughout the years Heather served in many roles within MHAL, with the most important being that of a devoted hockey mom.
We are deeply indebted to her husband Ryan who has coached boys’ hockey for many years, as this was surely a difficult season to get through. Your team is grateful to you for your dedication and contributions to the team's success.
In speaking with members of Evan’s U15 team, Heather was a true Lambeth hockey mom, who loved watching Evan on the ice. Heather’s courageous battle touched so many of our lives and her bright light will be greatly missed.
Our most sincere sympathies go out to Ryan, Evan and Brynn and to all the family and friends within our community who knew and loved Heather.
Over the remaining weeks of our season MHAL will be showing our support in many ways. Convenors and coaches will be contacted with additional details.
