A huge congratulations to the Lambeth U18 B Girls Team crowned 2021-22 OWHA Provincial Champions!!!
After winning their regular season with an undefeated record, the team set its sights on the Provincial Championships held in the GTA April 8 - 10.
Advancing through the round-robin and playoff games without a loss, the Lancers faced a tough North York Storm squad in the Championship game. The match was tightly contested resulting in a 1-1 tie after regulation play. In the overtime frames, the Lancers resiliency, determination and work ethic proved to be too much for their opponent. Early in the third overtime period, the Lancers capitalized on an opportunity and scored the golden goal in front of adoring family and friends.
What an amazing run for this talented group of players. The coaching staff are proud of these young women, wishing them all the success and happiness in any future endeavours. Also a special shout-out to the graduating players who now become proud Lancer Alumni. It truly is a sweet life!
