U11, U13, U15 and U18 girls teams are selected following spring tryouts. U9 tryouts will be held in September. Please do not register unless you were selected for these teams.

Girls Hockey teams register/play with the OWHA.
Registration will open following the completion of tryouts and will close June 30, 2024 or whenever age groups are filled to capacity.
NOTE: waitlists will be available for teams at capacity
Registration is based on tryouts and it is important to register as soon as possible. If a category limit is reached, registrants will be placed on a waiting list pending MHAL’s review of registration numbers in each category. If your player is on a waitlist there is no guarantee a position will become available. Although MHAL will endeavor to find space for waitlisted players, Parents are encouraged to look for alternatives.
In an effort to ensure youth can play hockey within their community, MHAL has limited funds available for financial assistance for families in need. Please email the appropriate registrar with your request. All requests will be kept private.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR GIRLS HOCKEY:
June 27th to July 15th:
Option 1: Paid in full using a credit card.
Option 2: 3 equal payments: 1st at registration, 2nd payment on August 5th, 3rd and final payment on September 2nd.
Alternate arrangements for off-line payments (Cash, E-Transfers, cheques, subsidies, etc.) must be communicated to the Girls Registrar before registration is completed.

July 16th to July 31st:
If there are spots available, registration will remain open until the teams are full and then wait lists will be started—you will be instructed to contact the Girls Registrar.
September 2nd and later:
All registrations subject to space availability and payment is due in full upon registration.
November 1st:
The Rep Team Fee is due by November 1st for all players who have successfully secured a spot on a Rep-level team roster.
Refund Requests:
Understanding that the new mandated policies affect everyone differently, please review the refund information and reach out to the registrars if you wish to go this direction. Please note the following:
If the skater never touches the ice:
- They will receive a full refund (inclusive of development skates and tryouts).
If the skater attends development skates and then requests a refund:
- Refunds will be pro-rated and based on ice utilization per player (less a $50 handling fee).

*Exception: The only exception to this refund policy will occur in the event all ice time is cancelled by government health authorities and may not be issued until season is called or ended. Should this occur, refunds will be prorated to reflect remaining ice time/season.

1. Gate Fee:
Girls Hockey registration includes gate fees for league games at Lambeth Minor Hockey (typically $5.00 per person per game for 20 home games, or $100 per season).
2. Volunteer Fee (conditionally refundable):
Each player registered with Lambeth Minor Hockey is charged a $100 volunteer fee which is refunded by the end of the season if a family member volunteers with Lambeth Minor Hockey. Team Coaches, bench staff, managers (up to 7 per team) and executive members are all eligible for the volunteer fee refund.
3. Team and Individual Photo:
Paid registration includes a professionally taken team and individual player photo taken in late September/early October (pending government health regulations).
***ADDITIONAL FEES ***
1. Try-out Fee:
For any U11 to U18 aged registrants wishing to try-out for a Rep team, please select the $100 Try-out fee during registration. Try-outs will be announced on the MHAL website.
2. Rep Team Fee (non-refundable if placed on a Rep Team):
Players who have successfully secured a spot on a Rep team roster are charged a Rep Team fee (see chart above) for the additional ice time those teams receive. This fee is assessed by the end of try-outs and payment to Lambeth Minor Hockey via the registration system is due by November 1st.
3. Team Fee (at discretion of Team Manager):
Players may be charged a Team Fee for extra costs that will be payable to the team early in the season. Team Managers will discuss the fee and provide details at the team level. This fee is in addition to all other fees collected by Lambeth Minor Hockey and goes directly to the Team Manager.
READY TO REGISTER?
Lambeth Minor Hockey is affiliated with the OWHA and registration is offered through the RAMP Interactive system for Girls Hockey registration. This system is NOT linked to the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) system used for Boys Hockey (OMHA) registration so you will need a separate login/password to setup a family account to register.

1. Female players new to or returning to Lambeth Minor Hockey:
Please register on-line by clicking on 'Registration', 'Girls Hockey' and 'RAMP Interactive Registration' and follow the instructions. You only need to setup a “New RAMP Interactive User” account if you have never registered with RAMP Interactive before.
2. Female players registered with another OWHA association:
Please obtain a “Permission To Tryout” (PTT form) from that association and bring it to the very first try-out ice time. Any OWHA girl requiring a PTS form must email [email protected] at least two business days before requiring the form.
Under no circumstances will a player be allowed on the ice for tryouts without the original PTS form.
3. New Players never registered with OWHA:
You will also need to submit a copy of the player’s Birth Certificate and also a copy of the player’s proof of residence (i.e. parent Driver’s License). The copies MUST be submitted (preferably via e-mail to [email protected]) as soon as the player is registered. The documents must be received by MHAL before the player is allowed on ice (including tryouts).
