Lancers Jr. C celebrate ATOM B Silverstick Champs!
The MHAL ATOM B boys hockey team was recognized for winning the International Silverstick tournament at the Friday, Feb. 8th Lancer Jr. C game versus Thamesford.  That Friday was also the inaugural opening of the Lancers Lair Beer Gardens!

Friday, February 8th marked the first game of the Thamesford Trojans playoff series as well as the inaugural opening of the Lancers Lair Beer Gardens. The serving area, near the concession stand and open for the remainder of the season at Lancers home games, has been a big hit so far and is operated by the Lambeth Optimist Club, who are generously donating 100% of the proceeds from the Thamesford series to the Lambeth Minor Hockey Association.

Friday’s 9-2 win at home against the Trojans also acted as a recognition ceremony for the Atom boys Lancers team as they celebrate a major win from the International Silverstick tournament.

The Lambeth Minor Hockey Association has had much success over the past few weeks, with the Lancers Peewee girls team also winning their own International Silverstick tournament. The girls will be recognized before the Jr. C Lancers home game on Sunday, February 24th against the Dorchester Dolphins in the first game of the Yeck Conference championship playoff series.

The Jr. C Lancers would like to thank the Lambeth Optimist Club and the Lambeth Minor Hockey Association as they enter the 2012-2013 Yeck Conference finals and fight for a spot in the Schmalz Cup provincial championship.
