Peterborough Melanie Clancy Memorial Champions
Congratulations to the U16BB Lambeth Lancers for taking home the
Championship this weekend in Peterborough, at the Melanie Clancy Memorial
tournament.
The boys faced some great competition from across the province
going 2-2 in round robin play to qualify for the semis.
On championship Sunday, these boys came to play putting in a
fantastic team effort in the semis to beat a very good Sarnia Sting team 2-1.
The goaltenders were outstanding, the defence was rock solid, and
the forwards played a strong two-way game to take the championship 1-0 over a gritty Milton Menace squad.
The coaches are very proud of these young men!
