Lambeth Minor Hockey Families!
As
the season comes to a close, we are already getting ready for next season REGISTRATION
WILL OPEN ON APRIL 30 AND WILL CLOSE JUNE 15 for OMHA teams only. OWHA
registration will occur pending tryouts.
This
will allow us to prepare the number of teams based on players registered. We
will do our best to accommodate any players registered after June 15 but will
not be able to guarantee space.
Please
note some additional updates to registration for the 2024-25 season:
OPTIONS
FOR U14/U15/U16
In
addition to Local League and B, this season we are hoping to offer BB teams
where there is enough interest. BB is a competitive hockey division with no
body-checking. This will be a single year registration for U14 (2011), U15
(2010) and U16 (2009).
There
will also be a U16 Local League option to register for. Based on the
registrations received we may combine ages and/or groups. You will be contacted
as registrations are finalized if changes to your player's
registration need to be discussed.
If
you are interested in BB as an option, please be sure to register by the
deadline as it will allow us to assess interest and make plans for the team to
play within a BB loop. Once we understand the level of interest, we will work with OMHA to identify the league we will compete in.
PAYMENT
OPTIONS
Various
payment options will be offered with full payment due by September 1. This will
include payment in full or monthly installments (initial payment plus the first
of June, July, August and September). Payments, as always, are accepted by
credit card, e-transfer, cash or cheque.
HCR
PROFILE
Most
players updated their profiles last season. However, there were a couple of
teams who did not. If you did not, please take a moment to login
to HCR 3.0 (Spordle) and make sure the contact information is correct as
this is where the email lists are pulled from for the season.
As
well, you will be required to have the player's birth certificate and parent
driver's license or other proof of address attached. These items are required
to be rostered to any team within Hockey Canada. If you completed this last
season, you should be all set for registration.
VULNERABLE
SECTOR CHECK PROCESS UPDATED
Ontario
Hockey Federation (OHF) has centralized the process for Vulnerable Sector
Checks. You will no longer need to send it to each association you volunteer
with. It will be submitted directly to OHF
online and your HCR profile will be updated. This will need to be completed
by every Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer, Manager and any other Bench Staff, Team
Volunteer, or Dressing Room Mom.
They
will accept a PVSC from 2022-23 or 2023-24 season accompanied by the OHF
Screening Declaration form. Full details about the new process can be found
here.
We
have greatly appreciated our volunteer bench staff! Anyone interested in
volunteering next season, please take a moment to review the requirements so
you are prepared before next season begins.
