U11 Atom B Girls, 2019-2020, Girls (Lambeth Minor Hockey)

The Lambeth Atom B girls continued their tournament streak, by winning the Stratford Aces tournament. After ringing up 4 round robin wins, including a 4 to 3 win over a tough Wilmot team, the girls took their perfect record up against a very difficult KV Ravens team from the USA. After battling hard all game, they were tied with less than a minute to go. A last second goal propelled them into the final. In the championship match, they faced a familiar foe in Lucan. Congratulations to the Atom B Girls on winning the Kitchener Oktoberfest Tournament. 

I’d like to start by thanking everyone for their time and effort over the past few days.  It’s been a lot for all of us and I appreciate everyone who helped to make it a really enjoyable experience.  I had a lot of fun getting to know the girls and I’m excited for the upcoming season.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I was very impressed with the way the girls played today.  That St. Thomas team is strong, but our girls worked hard, never quit, and kept smiling the whole game.  It was a real pleasure being on the bench.   Thank you to everyone who helped out before the game.  See you tomorrow night. 

First of all I’d like to thank everyone who came out to our Lambeth Lancers Atom B girls tryouts over the weekend.  The turnout was amazing and I’m very encouraged by the level of talent and enthusiasm.  I can genuinely say that I didn’t see a single girl that I wouldn’t love to work with.
