Welcome to the Lambeth U9 Girls hockey program!
My name is Kevin Spicer and I will be coaching the U9C team this upcoming season. The focus of this team is building a love for hockey and making great friends while we develop our skills and competitive spirit. This is my fourth year coaching this team and we have had a lot of success in terms of player development, and girls remaining in Lambeth as they move to the U11 program.
Planned format for 2024/25:
- Two teams, a C team and a HL team
- Evaluations will be held mid-September after some warmup skates which will take place in early Sept
- Half ice games, C plays at one end, and HL plays at the other end
- Full ice games (after Jan 15), the two teams play separately in different divisions
- C team is planning 4 tournaments (two hotel), HL will have 2-4 tournaments
- The HL coach is currently TBD
Lambeth girls hockey is growing in numbers and we are hoping to expand even further at the U9 level. Lambeth girls hockey is becoming more competitive and we would love for you to join the team. Success from last season includes U11 B being the WOGHL Division 2 League Champs in 2023/24. Lambeth U11 will now have a U11A team in 2024/2025 hockey season.
