Big Win in Final
The final game was an exciting match against West Lorne. With both teams starting to get worn down from the long weekend of fun and hockey our girls proved they could dig deep and pull out another win. Amazing passing and great teamwork as well as every girl putting in 100% effort was too much for West Lorne to stop. The referees even commented on the quality of play from our girls and needless to say the fans enjoyed this game very much. Mackenzie D scored on a great pass from Cassidy to start the scoring. Diana followed that with the game winner and then for insurance Kennedy and Mackenzie D displayed superb passing and teamwork to score a beautiful goal that really summed up the girls work so far this year.
Judging from the smiles we saw at the rink and the hotel this was an awesome weekend for the girls and their families. Needless to say the coaching staff is very appreciative of the hard work the girls put in and the support the families provided the team. The trophy and medals were a bonus!
West Lorne selected Abby Tenpas as the MVP for the many chances she created.
