Lambeth - Dorchester Tie 2-2
The Lancers and the Dorchester Dragons skated to a 2-2 tie on Monday night at the new and very impressive Dorchester Community Complex. Lambeth opened the scoring near the end of the first period with Cole Marshall shoving home a Brennan Shier rebound that just sat on the goal line waiting to be sent 'home'. The same two teamed up for the second Lancer goal late in the 2nd with Shier getting the goal on a nice set-up by Marshall and Calvin Delancey.
The fast paced game with only 3 minor penalties called saw the Dragons come on strong in the third to tie it up on goals by Andrew Murray and Chris Buckholz. Both teams had numerous chances to add to their totals except for the stellar goaltending of Alex Hutcheson in the Dorchester net and Lancer, Caleb Millar. Dorchester outshot Lambeth 26-24.
Lambeth's final Shamrock League game is Saturday night in Glencoe.
