Welcome to Tryouts!
Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting season of Lambeth hockey. I hope the off season has been restful and your child is ready to go. Myself and Greg Miller will be running the tryouts with some outside evaluators in the stands to help us pick our team. Please check the website daily for any and all updates on when tryouts begin in two weeks time.
Each child is guaranteed two tryout skates and we will be making decisions on who is moving forward after every skate following Saturday's tryout. I will update the website with the names of the players that are moving on to the exhibition games Sunday and Tuesday. If you cannot make one of the first two tryouts due to soccer please let me know ASAP so we can make arrangements around this. If your child is released AE tryouts will start the following weekend and it is also posted on the website.
We are looking for positive attitudes, coachability, players that can play in both ends of the ice, hustle, and the players that best fit into our team concept.
We will see your child at our first skate Friday September 6, 715pm at Nichols arena. Please have your child there half hour before the tryout so we can get them checked in and a jersey.
