The
Lambeth Peewee B Girls travelled to Toronto this weekend to represent the organization at the
Lower Lakes Championship Weekend. This is a true championship where each Lower Lake division sends their playoff winner. After the 5 team round robin, the Lambeth girls were 3-1 and finished in a tie for first putting our young ladies into the Championship game against the
Lindsay Lynx. Lindsay had put the only blemish on the girls record through the round robin. The girls gave their all throughout the weekend against the top competition in the province and proved once again to be a talented and resilient group that plays a team game end to end.
As they have all season, the girls rose to the occasion with a tremendous performance against a very strong opponent and came away with a very solid 2-0 win to claim the overall
2019-2020 Peewee B Lower Lakes Championship.
Your coaches and parents are proud of the great effort not just this weekend but the whole season!

The
Lambeth Peewee B Girls brought home the gold medal from the
Ancaster Avalanche Fall Shootout hockey tournament over the weekend. The girls battled hard all weekend with a strong team effort that started in net with shutouts in the last 4 games, smart and solid defensive play on the back end and an a tenacious set of forwards that kept the pressure on our opponents from the drop of the puck. The girls downed a very talented West Oxford team 3-0 in the Championship.
Congratulations to all the girls for an incredible weekend of hockey, comradery, team-building and fun!
Nice Job Girls – your coaches and parents are proud of you!
