Lancers Win Game #2 in OT 4-3
A goal in over time by Kyle Mackay erased a comeback by Mt Brydges that saw the Cougars score two goals in the last 5 minutes of regulation to tie the game at 3's. Lambeth built up a 3-1 lead on goals by Mitch Chard, Justin McDougall and Cole Chilvers and the Lancers were full value for their lead. Chard's goal was the result of a perfect drop pass from Nick North while McDougall's marker was at the end of pretty passing play between Jarvis Millard and Brennan Shier. Cole Chilvers intercepted a clearing pass and scored unassisted with :05 seconds left in the 2nd period.

A collapse of what the Lancers were doing well all night led to two quick goals by the Cougars to tie the game and which ultimately led to Mackay's heroics. Some hard work by Liam Baughman and Ryan Haruta found Mackay all alone infront of the Mt. Brydges goal and he made no mistake, flicking it high into the back of the net and a 4-3 Lambeth win.

The Lambeth victory was tempered somewhat with a deliberate hit on Lambeth goalie Andrew Harris by a Cougar forward, late in the first period. Harris was replaced by Caleb Millar who played exceptional in relief. The Mt Brydges player for his efforts received a Match Penalty for an Attempt to Injure.

The series resumes on Friday night in Mr Brydges.
