Motown Cup Champions!
Lambeth Novice B Boys team won the Motown Cup tournament championship Sunday, Feb. 17th in Detroit.
The Lambeth Novice Rep team defeated Burlington 9 to 1 then took in an NHL game and met Corey Emmerton of the Red Wings. The boys won their early morning game on Saturday 5 to 2 over the Sylvania Maple Leafs. The afternoon game didn't go the Lancers way losing 2 to 1 against the Livonia Knights. The late night and a few players under the weather had the Lancers with little jump. With a good nights rest and revenge on their minds the Lancers came out flying and claimed the Motown cup with a convincing 10 to 2 win over Livonia.
Congrats players, coaches and parents on a great weekend of hockey.
