Major Midget, 2010-2011, Rep (Lambeth Minor Hockey)

The Major Midgets ended their season with a convincing win beating the Lucan Irish 6-1 in Lucan. Jarvis Millard scored 26 seconds into the game on a pass from Mitch Chard and Nick North and the Lancers never looked back. Kyle MacKay scored a power play marker followed by a pair of goals from Mitch Chard and singles from Nick North and Calvin Delancey. In addition his 2 goals, Chard added a pair of assists as did Brett Jankura and Cole Marshall. Caleb Millar had another strong game in net for Lambeth stopping 25 of 26 shots fired his way. 

The Lancers got back on the winning column with a 5-3 win at home over the Lucan Irish. With the victory, Lambeth's record is now 2 wins and 3 losses in the 4 team round-robin. Nick North led the Lancer attack with a pair of goals after Calvin Delancey opened the scoring on a power play at the 3:12 mark of the first period. Liam Baughman made it 4-0 before Lucan got on the score sheet midway through the 2nd period. Cole Chilvers closed off the Lambeth scoring on a rebound off a Riley Gilmore shot near the end of the period. Lucan made it closer than it should have been with a pair of goals ...

St Marys 9; Lambeth 1. A short bench didn't help but the Rock are a very good team. Enough said.

There are 'ugly' losses and then there's 'really ugly' losses. The Lancer's 7-2 loss to the St Marys Rock on Friday night unfortunately, falls into the latter category. It was a 'REALLY UGLY' loss. Case in point; St. Marys scored 2 even strength goals, 2 power play goals and 3, yes 3 short handed tallies, two by the same player Matt Vandewalle. The Lancers were outshot 33-23, were out-hustled and out-skated all night long by the Rock.    

With 9 different Lancers getting a point on the game sheet and showing a solid 'team' effort, the Lancers beat the Dorchester Dragons 3-2 in Lambeth to even their round-robin record at 1 and 1. Dorchester's Cam Bond opened the scoring at 11:45 of the opening period on a power play to give the Dragons a early 1-0 lead.  Lambeth evened the score with a power play goal of their own with Josh D'Andrea scoring on a bullet from the blue line with assists going to Nick North and Nick Lorusso.
